Thank you for your interest in serving St. Philomene Parish religious education program! Our parish serves over 450 children in English and Spanish each year with the help of dedicated volunteers such as yourself! We welcome you and are available to assist you in your ministry of sharing God's love. Please fill out the form below and upon completion, you will be contacted by Nallely Reyes who is our bi-lingual religious education coordinator.

Requirements for Catechists/Co-Catechist/Aide
- Be a practicing Confirmed Catholic.
- Have a good standing in the Church: Participate regularly in Sunday Mass and participate as fully as possible in a sacramental life.
- Be at least 18 years of age and be Confirmed to teach a class (Catechists under 18, must have an adult in class when teaching)
- Complete Diocesan requirements for catechists (fingerprinting/background check, Shield of Vulnerable and become certified after your 2nd year of teaching.)
