Blessings of Peace and Wellbeing!
The month of July just passed us without noticing it. But anyways, I have several things to remember during the first month of the fiscal year:
New Parish Pastoral Council Membership. With recommendations and prayers, I would like to thank the members accepting the duty and the task.
With all of these, we have a reason to give thanks to our Lord Jesus, Who is the Bread of Life!
As we continue to experience the challenges of summer’s heat and drought, I would like to encourage you and your families to attend our Parish Picnic at the Howe Park on August 9th from 10:00 AM, which is after the 9:00 AM Mass, to 4:00PM. For those who go to the 5:30PM Saturday Mass and the 7:30AM Sunday Mass, you can directly go to the Park. As one Parish, we come together to celebrate our unity in diversity.
Last Tuesday, July 21, 2015, the fire marshal came to have her final inspection for the remaining violations. On the same day, we are made compliant with the fire codes. We are not yet done making our facility compliant, safe, and secure so that we can worship and meet as one community.
Parish Festival Letters and tickets will be mailed out soon. Please continue supporting this wonderful and family-event Parish fundraising.
Thanks and God bless you with love and peace!
Building our Parish by our love, devotion and generosity, the new fiscal year has come for us to continue our support and participation to put into realization our Parish Mission Statement. With sincerest and deepest gratitude, I would like to thank each one of you for the past fiscal year. It has its ups and downs in all aspects of our Christian life but we are still all here united in prayers, worship and service for our Lord. In this new fiscal year, we renew our commitment by active, full and conscious participation in the Parish.
There are sacred opportunities for each and every one of us to participate in various ministries: Worship and Liturgy, Religious Education, Community Life, Facilities Ministry, Social Concerns, Prayer Groups and Associated (Trans-Parochial) Groups.
As you are already aware of ongoing changes happening in our Parish and School, be it, removal, replacements, additions, improvements, organization, realignment, trainings in liturgical celebrations, staff, ministers and volunteers, let us continue building and supporting our Parish and each and every one of us by our active, conscious and full participation.
Life is a constant change! We just need to be open to the promptings and guidance of the Holy Spirit for the greater glory of God!
