Welcome to St. Philomene's Religious Education Program.
Our program is focused on providing children from 1st grade to High School the opportunity to learn the history and foundation of the Catholic Church. Children will gain a meaningful understanding of the seven sacraments; grow in a personal relationship with God and given the opportunity to grow as a community with other children from the parish. Each class is led by a trained volunteer catechist and an assistant.
Students must be enrolled for two consecutive years to receive their Sacraments of
First Communion and Confirmation.
Registrations will be held in the Summer. Forms may be picked up in the Parish Office during the week.
Families are encouraged to continue the faith formation of their children after they receive the sacrament of Holy Communion. There is so much more to learn as they grow in their faith and continue on the journey.
Religious Education program (CCD) will begin in August and meet once a week till the month of May. There are two sessions; the English session is every Sunday at 10:15 am - 11:45am and the Spanish session is every Thursday from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
